PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The aim of the project is to develop a globally innovative solution - a photoactive medical device intended for the treatment of patients with diabetic foot syndrome in remission, aimed at extending the period of remission until the next ulceration in the course of the underlying disease. The target diabetic foot phototherapy device will be developed on the basis of a flexible, adapting to the patient's foot textile carrier made in the knit&wear technology using numerically controlled flat crochet machines, equipped in the inner part with an innovative combination of light wave emitters, a time control system and a power supply system.
